Normas generales para la presentación de resúmenes / Guidelines for abstracts
Para poder presentar comunicaciones, al menos uno de los autores deberá estar inscrito en el IV Congreso de Jóvenes Investigadores/as de Canarias y II Congreso Internacional de Jóvenes por la Investigación. Se admitirá un máximo de una comunicación como autor principal (independientemente que sea oral o póster) por cada inscripción.
El autor deberá enviar el resumen de la comunicación, tanto orales como de pósteres, a través de la web de JINTE, dentro del apartado correspondiente al congreso.
Los trabajos pueden presentarse en castellano o inglés. Los resúmenes deberán exponer sintéticamente el objetivo, la metodología empleada, los principales resultados y conclusiones. Se podrán incluir hasta 3 referencias bibliográficas en el resumen, pero siempre sin exceder la longitud máxima del texto del resumen, que será de 300 palabras (excluyendo título y autores).
Los resúmenes serán evaluados por el Comité Científico del Congreso, que aceptará las comunicaciones o podrá sugerir modificaciones de sus contenidos. Tendrá la decisión final sobre qué comunicaciones son admitidas dentro de las sesiones orales del programa, o pasan a comunicación tipo póster debido a la alta demanda.
Para poder ser evaluadas y aceptadas definitivamente las comunicaciones, se deberán cumplir con la fecha límite de envío, que es el 15 de julio de 2022 (plazo ampliado al 22 de julio de 2022).
El envío de una comunicación supone la aceptación de todas las normas y el consentimiento para su publicación de toda la documentación generada por el Congreso, así como cualquier tipo de soporte físico o digital.
In order to present communications, at least one of the authors must be registered in the IV Congreso de Jóvenes Investigadores/as de Canarias y II Congreso Internacional de Jóvenes por la Investigación. A maximum of one communication will be accepted as a main author (regardless of whether it is oral or poster) for each registration.
The author must send the abstract, both oral and posters, through the JINTE website, within the section corresponding to the congress
Abstracts can be presented in Spanish or English. Abstracts must synthetically expose the objective, the methodology used, the main results and conclusions. Up to 3 bibliographical references may be included in the abstract, but always without exceeding the maximum length of the abstract text, which will be 300 words (excluding title and authors).
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the Congress, which will accept the communications or may suggest modifications to their contents. The Committee will have the final decision on which communications are admitted within the oral sessions of the program or move to poster communication due to high demand.
In order to be evaluated and accepted, the communications must meet the submission deadline, which is 15th July 2022 (22th july 2022 extended deadline).
Please note that sending a communication implies acceptance of all the rules and consent for the publication of all the documentation generated by the Congress, as well as any type of physical or digital support.
Pago / Payment
El pago se puede realizar tras la aceptación del resumen hasta el 21 de octubre de 2022. El pago se ha de realizar vía transferencia bancaria a la cuenta de la asociación con número ES68 3076 0740 8124 5941 8329 y se deberá enviar a congreso.jic@gmail.com el recibo de dicho pago con el nombre y apellidos de la persona inscrita seguido de IV JIC (Ej: Perico Pérez IV JIC).
La cuota de inscripción al Congreso incluye acceso a las charlas, sesiones de pósteres, café/picoteo entre sesiones y cena de clausura (por confirmar).
The payment can be made after acceptance of the abstract until 21th of October 2022. Payment must be made by bank transfer to the association’s bank account number ES68 3076 0740 8124 5941 8329 and a receipt of payment must be sent to congreso.jic@gmail.com with the name and surname of the person registered followed by IV JIC (e.g.: Perico Pérez IV JIC).
The Congress registration fee includes access to the talks, poster sessions, coffee/picnic between sessions and closing dinner (to be confirmed).

Normas para las comunicaciones orales / Guidelines for oral communications
El comité organizador del congreso aconseja que las comunicaciones orales aceptadas se presenten en un máximo de 15 diapositivas y con un tiempo de presentación de 10 minutos. Se recomienda que el contenido se estructure en los apartados propios de los trabajos científicos con introducción, objetivos, material y métodos, resultados-discusión y conclusión. Se presentarán en sesiones temáticas agrupadas, al final de las cuales se abrirá un turno de palabras para preguntas.
Los ficheros en formato PDF o PPT de las presentaciones orales se enviarán por correo al Comité Organizador a: congreso.jic@gmail.com, antes del 12 de noviembre de 2022, para su montaje y organización.
The Committee of the Congress advises that accepted oral communications should be presented in a maximum of 15 slides during a maximum of 10 minutes. It is recommended that the content be structured in the sections of scientific work with introduction, objectives, material and methods, results-discussion and conclusion. The communications will be presented in thematic sessions, at the end of each there will be time for questions.
The files in PDF or PPT format of the oral presentations will be sent by mail to the Committee at: congreso.jic@gmail.com, before 12 November 2022, for assembly and organization.
Normas para las comunicaciones en formato póster / Guidelines for posters
El póster impreso deberá ser colocado por los autores el primer día del congreso o incluso el día anterior, según los horarios que se les indiquen. El comité ayudará en caso necesario para su montaje.
Así mismo, la retirada de los pósteres, debe ser realizada por los propios autores, y no deberá efectuarse antes de la finalización del congreso, con el fin de que todos los asistentes dispongan de tiempo suficiente para su lectura. Los pósteres que no sean recogidos tras la finalización del congreso serán retirados y eliminados.
El póster no debe exceder de un tamaño de 80 cm ancho x 120 cm de alto (DIN A0), con letra que permita su lectura a una distancia aproximada de 1,5 metros.
La estructura recomendada del póster será:
- Título: Se recomienda usar tipo de letra Arial o similar, tamaño 36, en negrita.
- Autores: Se recomienda usar tipo de letra Arial o similar, tamaño 30 o 32, en negrita.
- Institución/Entidad: Se recomienda usar tipo de letra Arial o similar, tamaño 28 o 26, en negrita.
- Contenido: Se recomienda usar tipo de letra Arial o similar, tamaño 18 o 20, y se recomienda que, salvo causa justificada, los apartados sean introducción y objetivos, material y métodos, resultados y conclusión.
- Los autores se hacen responsables de contar con los derechos de reproducción que puedan pesar sobre las imágenes y gráficos que se utilicen en los pósteres.
The printed poster must be placed by the authors on the first day of the congress or even the day before, according to the timetable indicated to them. The committee will help if necessary for its assembly.
Likewise, the withdrawal of the posters must be carried out by the authors and should not be done before the end of the congress, so that all attendees have enough time to read it. The posters that are not collected after the end of the congress will be removed and eliminated.
The poster must not exceed a size of 80 cm wide x 120 cm high (DIN A0), with letters that allow it to be read from approximately 1.5 meters.
Recommended structure of the poster will be:
- Title: It is recommended to use Arial font or similar, size 36, in bold.
- Authors: It is recommended to use Arial font or similar, size 30 or 32, in bold.
- Institution/Entity: It is recommended to use Arial font or similar, size 28 or 26, in bold.
- Content: It is recommended to use Arial font or similar, size 18 or 20, and it is recommended that, except for justified reason, the sections must be introduction and objectives, material and methods, results and conclusion.
- The authors are responsible for having the reproduction rights of the images and graphics used in the posters.
